Nature has always been and will always be my favourite source of inspiration, I am constantly looking for patterns, colours, shapes & textures to use in my future designs.
To further my knowledge I took a journey to the traditional lands of the Dharawal people in the Royal National Park. Exploring the surrounding areas of Bundeena, I discovered a secret path from Jibbon Beach to secluded Shelley Beach. Bundeena is said to mean "noise like thunder" (the sound of waves). This place is rich in cultural history and natural untouched beauty, this place continues to inspire me today.
I captured these images on an old 2000s digital camera. I fell in love with the nostalgic tint and blur to the images, bringing character and authenticity to them without any post-editing techniques.
