Branding, graphic design, social design, creative direction
I had the pleasure of working with the United Nations Association of Australia (NSW Division) on a live brief in the ‘Burrow’ at WSU. The brief was to help promote the UN Student and Volunteer Placement Program to key stakeholders.
I was appointed team leader & delegator whilst also being in charge of designing all social media assets and storyboards for a promotional video for their YouTube channel. I contributed to the logo and style guide development in the initial stages of planning which built the foundation for our final design outcomes.
To develop my designs I had to conduct research into the UN brand while exploring precedent market research to grasp a better scope of the job at hand. As a team, we had to present our progress at client meetings regularly, this allowed me to receive valuable feedback to develop fast turnarounds for any design changes or ideas from the client. Working with the UNNA was a dream come true and extremely rewarding as I was able to take part in an important project in the activism sector while also developing valuable industry skills
